Aloha,
Agricultural land is for farming and/or ranching, both of which support sustainability for Big
Island residents. Agricultural land is not intended for short term vacation rentals. There are
"farms" on the Big Island that have one or multiple vacation rentals operating on agricultural
land. These "hobby farms" are primarily tourist accommodations and actual farms (if at all)
second.
Definition of agriculture, and agricultural, from Wiktionary:

Appropriate areas zoned for tourist accommodations (such as the resorts, or the business
districts of cities/towns) should be encouraged.
