I am AGAINST the proposed development at Punalu'u Beach area. This pristine area must be
preserved and not developed. This area is culturally significant. Developing this area will not
only endanger our Native animal species, plants but especially our people. We depend on
Punalu'u for our cultural food and practices. The natural beauty will be destroyed. Hawai'i
Island has few beaches. We, local people depend on it. Developing Punalu'u will steal our
cultural rights.
PLEASE, do not develope/desecrate our beautiful Punalu'u.
