Dear Leeward Planning Commission,
Thank you for the opportunity to comment by email on the KONA THREE, LLC (PL-REZ-2022-000033) application being
heard on December 15, 2022.
Please give a negative recommendation on this application.
Kona infrastructure is full. We have severe traffic problems, our wastewater treatment plant is at capacity if existing
homes were already hooked up (as they are required to be shortly), we have severe runoff issues that endanger health
of both our marine life and people, in addition to schools, healthcare, etc.
The request for 10 more years on a project dating from 1983 also underscores how inappropriate it is to continue with
endless extensions.
