Subject: Vacation rentals on the Big Island

Not sure what the issues are with this but we have paid proper taxes and permits for
our vacation rental for many years. We have never had any issues with our guests or
any complaints from any neighbors in our area. What little money we get from our
vacation rental helps us pay the enormous taxes levied upon us to keep up ownership
on our Hawaiian home. We are in our mid seventies and cannot really completely
retire without the help of income from our vacation rental property.
We really appreciate it if there are no more restrictions levied against us. We are
happy to follow all the rules set forth at this time.
