I've <br /> lived and worked on the Big Island off-and-on for the past 20 years, mainly in Kau. I've loved <br /> going to the Punalu'u beach and seeing the natural areas along the coast. I've watched tons of <br /> local families enjoying the area for years, and it would be a great sadness to allow it to be <br /> developed for the profit of a few individuals. <br /> This coast is unique and beautiful, and it is worth preserving for future generations on the Big <br /> Island. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Idelle Cooper <br />
