We apologize for the delayed review and thank you for your patience. According to your letter, Verizon Wireless proposes to install a 60 foot monopole disguised as a palm tree with twelve 8-foot panel antennas mounted at the top,and associated communication infrastructure. T.S.Dye& Colleagues(Murabayashi et al.2014)conducted a Historic Properties Assessment for this undertaking. The assessment indicates that there are no known archaeological sites in the area of effect(APE),and that disguising the tower as a palm tree minimizes any potential indirect or visual effects from this undertaking. A review of our records confirms the absence of historic properties within the APE. Based on the information provided, the State Historic Preservation Officer's project effect determination is no historic properties will be affected.
