This is in response to your email inquiry on December 15, 2017 asking "Did this project conduct a proper environmental
assessment or environmental impact statement?".
Attached please find the Office of Environmental Quality Control(OEQC) Bulletin dated May 8, 1991 and below are the
links that you will find the Final Environmental Impact Statement of Kamakoa Nui project.
On September 7, 2006, the Hawaii County Council adopted Resolution No.439-06 which designated the Waikoloa
Workforce Housing Project(WWHP) as an "Experimental and Demonstration Housing Project. The Mayor designated
the Housing Administrator of the County of Hawaii to serve as the designated County Office to administer this
project. Therefore if you need further information, please contact the Office of Housing & Community Development at
808-323-4300.
