I have known Pastor Pam and her late husband Lance for many years. My husband, Clifford Okimoto, and I have been close friends long before they created the Hope Dia-mend Ministries. Both of them have always warmly welcomed everyone to listen to the word of God. Their attitude towards the community has always been positive and uplifting as they helped those who struggled with their personal problems. Many of their services included offering support, Bible studies,providing for the community, Sunday School, and so much more. They sponsor various community events, such as Halloween and Easter,provide safe opportunities for youth in Ka`u. Additionally,the church collects and distributes donated food bi-monthly, extending support to the Ocean View community,particularly during the Covid- 19 pandemic. Known as a sanctuary for all, especially children, it offers a nurturing environment to encounter and embrace Jesus' love. Pastor Pam continues these traditions and is recognized as someone who is dedicated to the community and spreading the word of God. Being apart of the Hope Dia-mend `ohana has brought me a sense of belonging and joy. Being a long standing supporter and member of HDM (Hope Dia-mend Ministries). There are many beliefs that are instilled in us through the teachings of the church which are: Reached the Unreachable Touch the Untouchable Love the Unlovable Believe the Unbelievable Win the Lost at any Cost It's a place of no judgement and a hub where people can learn about God. Ocean view has a growing population and we want our `ohana to be protected in a safe environment. Please consider and support the building plan in Ocean View.
