APPLICANTS' REQUEST
■ A SPECIAL PERMIT TO ALLOW THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A 4-BEDROOM BED AND BREAKFAST
(B&B) OPERATION, TO HOST A MAXIMUM OF 8 ADULTS, WITHIN AN EXISTING 3,894-SQUARE
FOOT, 4-BEDROOM SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLING.
■ THE EXISTING DWELLING HAS 4 PERMITTED BEDROOMS, AND THE APPLICANT INTENDS TO
CONVERT A DEN INTO A PERMITTED 5TH BEDROOM FOR USE BY THE B&B OPERATOR.
■ THE APPLICANT INTENDS TO BE THE PRIMARY HOST AND AT TIMES HER PARENTS WILL WORK AS
THE ON-SITE OPERATORS OF THE BED AND BREAKFAST.
■ 6 ON-SITE UNPAVED PARKING STALLS WILL BE PROVIDED FOR GUESTS.
■ THE APPLICANT HAS PROPOSED TO SCHEDULE CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT AFTER THE
AM/PM PEAK HOURS TO REDUCE TRAFFIC IMPACTS.
PURPOSE OF REQUEST
■ THE PROPOSED B&B WILL SUPPLEMENT INCOME OF THE APPLICANT, ALLOW
THE OPERATOR TO HAVE GREATER INTERACTION WITH THEIR GUESTS, AND
GENERATE ADDITIONAL INTEREST IN CATTLE RANCHING AND THE OVERALL
AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY BY OCCUPANTS OF THE B&B.
