Subject: I OPPOSE Kaupulehu Land LLC land applications in Waimea
My name is Reina Irving and I live nearby and I OPPOSE all applications submitted by
Kaupulehu Land LLC.
I do not believe we need, nor do I want more commercial space in Waimea, especially at the
entry to town where the traffic risks are already great. 19,000 square feet of commercial space
is overbuilding the lot. In addition, I don't support turning agricultural land into commercial or
residential lots, especially considering the state of Hawaiian land on the island. We have
enough construction happening already, and this will only promote more loss of important
agricultural land.
I am asking the planning committee to reject these applications.
