Subject: Oppose the Metzler/Kaupulehu project application in Waimea

My name is Jason Ryusaki. I'm the 4th generation in my family to live in Waimea. I was born and raised here in
Waimea. My home is on Maluiaenapuu place in Waimea;just across the street from the proposed planned
development and I OPPOSE all applications submitted by Kaupulehu Land LLC.
I do not believe we need, nor do I want more commercial space in Waimea, especially at the entry to town
where the traffic risks are great. In addition, I don't support turning agricultural land into commercial or
residential lots. We have enough of that happening already, and this will only promote more loss of ag land.
I am asking the planning committee to reject these applications.
