Aloha,
My name is Laura DeSoto-McCollough and I live in Kamuela "Waimea" on the Big Island and we OPPOSE all applications
submitted by Kaupulehu Land LLC.
I do not believe we need, nor do we want more commercial space in Waimea, especially at the entry to town where the
traffic risks are great. 19,000 square feet of commercial space is overbuilding the lot. In addition, I don't support turning
agricultural land into commercial or residential lots. We have enough of that happening already, and this will only
promote more loss of ag land.
I am asking the planning committee to reject these applications. Enough is Enough!! Please take care of the people and
not the money makers. Mahalo!
