Aloha,
I am in strong opposition of the proposed rezoning of 64-983 Mamalahoa Hwy, Kamuela HI
96743 by John Metzler. Waimea has long since been a rural country community which has
grown leaps and bounds over the years and is quickly becoming everything the locals DO
NOT WANT. The increase of foreigner population, increased property tax in our communities
is undesirable. Waimea does NOT need to be turned in to a city. We need to preserve the
country space that we currently have for soon, it will no longer be.
Please DO NOT PASS THE REQUEST TO REZONE!!!
