Aloha to whoever is the receiving end of this email,
I am strongly against any rezoning or development for commercial space in our small town
Waimea(Kamuela). Waimea Nei is perfect the way it is. This proposed plan has no business in
our town! Our agriculture lots are Sacred to our small community, It feeds past the limits of
this town. It will continue to for generations as it has been for generations. There is no need
for commercial development over agricultural scarcity. This shouldn't even be a topic or
thought. For the newcomer or Haole- This would seem good for business. IT IS NOT!!! It is
not going to happen. As a Waimea native, I will stand against this every time it is ever
proposed because it is wrong. It is Hewa. Not now, not ever will this be right.
