BOW ENGINEERING & DEVELOPMENT, INC. is a team of dedicated professionals with practical experience in civil engineering, specializing in infrastructure improvements and site development. We are committed to making sure that every project is in compliance with applicable requirements, standards and schedules. We take a pro-active approach to all our projects. To ensure the optimal level of quality in our work products, we implement the following procedures: At start-up, the principal engineer, in consultation with the core project team, prepares a comprehensive work plan with target and anticipated dates to monitor tasks, submittals, reviews, deliverables and other milestone events. This work plan also provides clients and the team with timely, accurate and useful information that enables them to be informed and pro-active. The principal engineer assigns the project to a project manager, who is responsible for coordination and quality control (QC) reviews. He closely monitors the efforts of the project, ensuring quality, completeness and conformity of the work produced by the project staff. The principal engineer is the point of contact for the contract and provides team leadership and overall QC oversight. He performs independent QC reviews to provide an objective, near “third-party” review as a nonparticipating member of the project team. This process helps to minimize the chances of errors and provides an early opportunity to rectify them so that the process passes the QC test. As a result of our diligence and QC efforts, we very seldom encounter major problems. By utilizing innovative technology, exercising good engineering practice, conforming to applicable criteria and standards, and thoroughly understanding the scope of services and time and budget constraints, we minimize many potential problems. We use software applications such as Microsoft Project, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and HydroCAD as planning, monitoring, drafting and analytical tools. It not only helps us fast-track the designs, it dramatically reduces the occurrence of oversight. In turn, it often translates to substantial savings in time and costs for the clients. As of this date June 30, 2023, the foregoing is a true statement of facts. NAME OF FIRM OR INDIVIDUAL SUBMITTING QUESTIONNAIRE Bow Engineering & Development, Inc.
