NOW, THEREFORE, 1, MITCHELL D. ROTH, Mayor of the County of Hawai'i, do hereby proclaim and declare that a continued state of emergency exists due tothe threat of imminent disaster on Hawai'i Island, effective August 24, 2024,7-!�_p.m., Hawai'i standard time. FURTHER, with the cancelation of the Red Flag Warning, I hereby repeal the Emergency Rules adopted and promulgated on August 24, 2024, at 10:06 a.m. via the Mayor's .August 24, 2024 Tropical Storm Hone Emergency Proclamation and Emergency Rule effective -7 '6 Z- p.m., this 24"'day of August 2024. This Supplemental Emergency Proclamation shall be effective on August 24, 2024, and shall terminate in sixty(60) days unless terminated earlier or extended by a separate proclamation, whichever shall occur first.
