It gives almost <br />total power to Planning and Telecom with no other agencies or experts involved! It rushes the <br />approval process to only 30 days! It has no provisions to protect us against 5G small cells! It <br />freely allows towers at schools, playgrounds and day care centers! <br /> <br />Council Member Cindy Evans submitted a different ordinance (Bill 194) put through on <br />August 20th, that counters it and protects Big Island communities! (See details on pages 5- <br />19 click here <br />Please consider Council Member Evans proposed ordinance which has clear, attainable <br />requirements.
