It gives almost total power to Planning <br />and Telecom with no other agencies or experts involved! It rushes the approval process to only 30 <br />days! It has no provisions to protect us against 5G small cells! It freely allows towers at schools, <br />playgrounds and day care centers! <br /> <br />Council Member Cindy Evans submitted a different ordinance (Bill 194) put through on August <br />20th, that counters it and protects Big Island communities! (See details on pages 5-19 click here <br />Please consider Council Member Evans proposed ordinance which has clear, attainable <br />requirements.
