Traffic Signal repairs starting on Leilani St
The Department of Public Works Traffic Division and T&T Electric will conduct traffic signal repairs in the
westbound (mauka bound) lane of Leilani St at Kanoelehua Avenue. The work will begin on July 1-3, 2024,
from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm daily.
During this period, there will be a closure of the west-bound (mauka bound) lane of Leilani St. Motorists
heading mauka bound to access Kanoelehua Avenue, i.e., leaving the Hilo transfer station, will be detoured to
Railroad Avenue and Lanikaula Street. Please drive with caution and anticipate delays. Police officers will be
present to assist with traffic control
