Raised Crosswalk Installation near Kohala Elementary, Middle and High School
The Department of Public Works Highway Division will be installing three raised crosswalks in front of the
schools from June 17-21, 2024. The works will be on Kynnersley Road, Honomakau Road and Akoni Pule
Highway from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, Monday thru Friday. Weather permitting.
During this time, one-lane closures will be in effect . Flaggers will be directing the traffic flow at all work areas.
We appreciate your cooperation and patience as we work to improve our community’s safety and
infrastructure.
