Wainaku Street Rehabilitation Project restarts on July 20, 2023 Department of Public Works Highways Engineering Division will continue resurfacing Wainaku
Street from Hau Lane to ‘Ohana Place. Roadwork will occur on Thursday, July 20, 2023, from
8:30 am to 6:00 pm. Yamada and Sons, Inc will have one lane closures on Wainaku Street and road closure of Hau Lane, no access will be available to Hau Lane from Highway 19 or Wainaku Street. Hawai’i Police Department will be directing traffic.
DPW is requesting the public’s assistance that no cars be parked on the roadside for the duration
of the resurfacing work. Mahalo for your patience and understanding.
