PUBLIC NOTICE
Point Road and Bridge Closure for Hurricane Lane Repairs
The County of Hawaii Department of Public Works - Engineering Division along with its
Contractor, Jas W. Glover, Ltd, announce the closing of e Point Road from November 28, 2022, through December 2, 2022. Road construction work will consist of repairing/restoring damaged concrete bridge railings and roadway improvements.
During this construction period, the road will be closed daily from 7:00am until 5:00pm to all
traffic. After hours, the road will be accessible to local residents only to access their homes.
Message boards and road closure signs will be posted at the top of Point Road and flaggers will be present.
