WAIPIO VALLEY ROAD CLOSURES FOR
SURVEYING AND INVESTIGATION
The Department of Public Works – Engineering Division is planning closures for Waipio Valley Road to
allow land surveying and site investigations in support of design of the geotechnical mitigation and road
reconstruction efforts. Daily closures are scheduled from 7:30am to 1:00pm from Tuesday, December
27, 2022, through Friday, December 30, 2022. All residents and farmers requiring access to/from the
Valley should plan accordingly.
Additional work may continue from Wednesday, January 4, 2023, through Friday, January 6, 2023.
Workers will be present, however, at this time, no road closures are anticipated.
DPW thanks the community for its assistance in completing necessary project activities.
