Ms. Sauer,
I will not be able to attend the meeting on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.
But I would like to state that as a resident of West Hawai'i, I am against the building project for the 5-story
condominium on the makai side of Ali'i Drive.
I reviewed the plan for this project. It is my strong opinion that the developer has shown no respect to Kona. As
a resident, I cannot allow any negligence or abuse to the environment that comes out of decision based purely
on greed.
That building is completely out of character to Kona. It appears as if the developer picked up a plan from
anywhere urban USA to drop it off on the precious piece of property. This action is proof that they show no
consideration to what their plan might do to Kona. All they care about is what is it in for them and them alone.
I would like my voice to be heard even though I will not be able to attend the rescheduled meeting. Therefore, I
submitting my opinion and request to you in writing.
