Dear Members of the Hawaii County Planning Commission,
I'm reaching out to request that the commission delay the approval of the Mycin Group's
condominium project on Ali'i Drive. The Mycin Group's submission of multiple site plans has
caused a great deal of confusion, making it nearly impossible for residents to assess the
project's full impact. Additionally, the Background Report by the Planning Department is
outdated and does not reflect the most recent changes to the plans. Violations of the Sunshine
Laws have severely limited our ability to be informed and involved. With the public
opposition to this project recorded in 2021, we deserve a fair chance to review the current
plans and provide input. Please consider postponing this decision in the interest of
transparency and public engagement.
