Aloha,
I am a resident of Kapaau, with three children aged 1, 3, and 5. I am writing to implore you to
please support Bill 194. We need laws like this to protect us with regulation for the unchecked
spread of cell towers and their radiation, and to ensure no added fire risk takes place, such as
the Maui devastation. This is what the community wants and needs, so that 5G small
wireless facilities are regulated. This Bill would echo many other nation-wide laws protecting
people and the environment from this harmful technology taking over. Internationally, a
majority of developed nations ban levels of radiation much smaller than the government has
allowed here, due to incredibly harmful health consequences for children, adults, and kapuna.
Please support Bill 194 for the people who love and care for this aina, and the keiki who will
continue to steward and thrive here, like my young hopeful, happy children.
