I support Council Member Cindy Evans’ proposed telecommunications ordinance, Bill 194 (introduced 8/20/24),
opposing Item 8, which allows for more (seriously?) cell towers to be installed without permitting process and not
enough requirements. We need to prioritize the health of Hawaii’s people over Big Tech.
Please consider supporting Bill 194 (Cindy Evans) - it has clear attainable permitting requirements. It considers the
welfare, health and safety of the people as well as the needs of tech industry.
