Please oppose item #4 Planning Director's Ordinance. It does not have enough protections for our big island
community. There has been rampant deployment of towers and antennas in Hawaii and there are no experts on 5G
technology involved. The Planning Director’s Ordinance has no provisions to protect us and it allows towers at such
places as playgrounds, schools and day care centers. Please consider Council Member Cindy Evans different
ordinance (Bill 194) which has requirements to protect the health and welfare of the people.
