Aloha: I’m writing to register my STRONG opposition to Item #8, as it leaves our island communities unprotected
from rampant telecommunications development in ALL zoning districts - without ANY permitting process. I DO
support Council Member Cindy Evans’ Bill 194 proposed 8/20/2024, however - as this affords the public a crucial
opportunity to better address important safety & aesthetic concerns in their neighborhoods. Please consider the
thoughtful/responsible ordinance with clear/attainable permit requirements (Bill 194) submitted by Cindy Evans -
