My name is Dr.Alex Spivak.I work as a dentist in Waimea,and take care of many of our rural skilled nursing
facilities on island.The event gives me the opportunity to connect with my community as well as listen to needs
from all different parts of the island.As someone who works in a very sterile field,this event stands as a unique
opportunity to engage with artists and musicians in a creative medium that sends me back into my working
environment refreshed.I kindly ask you to grant permission for this event to continue—it's one that is curated with
a lot of intention,and focus on the community;and frankly one that I look forward to and that keeps me grounded
here on island.
