8) NEW BUSINESS
a) Veterans Cemetery III — West Hawaii - Water Payment
Hawaii Water Service Company (HWSC) owns Kona Water Service
Company (KWSC), (HWSC) which is the public water utility company that
purchased water and wastewater services at Kukio Resort in December 2008.
County will be charged for the water used at the West Hawaii Veterans
Cemetery III when the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission (HPUC) approves
the application.

b) Veterans Cemeteries — Rule 7, Section 5.02 — Decorations and Offerings
There are families digging up dirt to place pots inside holes on graves.
Rule 7 states "Potted plants and flowers not more than 2 feet in height may be
placed at the grave site, but no plants shall be grown on the grave site..."
