County will be charged for the water used at the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery III when the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission (HPUC) approves the application. (Director Robert Fitzgerald, Department of Parks and Recreation) b) Veterans Cemeteries — Rule 7, Section 5.02 — Decorations and Offerings There are families digging up dirt to place pots inside holes on graves. Rule 7 states "Potted plants and flowers not more than 2 feet in height may be placed at the grave site, but no plants shall be grown on the grave site..." (Deputy Director Clayton Honma, Department of Parks and Recreation) c) Membership Reminder to Members whose term has expired or will expire on December 31st to have Commander of Organization submit nominee for assigned slot.
