This Committee shall submit to the state commission plans and proposals affecting the status of County. This Committee shall endeavor to secure the widest possible citizen participation in its efforts and, for this purpose, may utilize existing public or private organizations. NOTICE TO LOBBYISTS If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the County Clerk within five days of becoming a lobbyist (Article 15, Section 2- A lobbyist means, individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spends more than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to (Article 15, Section 2- Registration forms and expenditure report documents are available at the Office of the County Clerk- Council, SPECIAL MEETING AGENDA I. Presenting the findings and recommendations to the committee regarding the testimonies to be presented before state legislators regarding: A. -year temporary positions. Requires a report. Appropriates funds. Sunsets 6/30/2028. B. SB297/HB728 Relating to Reproductive Freedom: Amends the Hawai'i State Constitution including the right to choose to obtain an abortion and to obtain or use contraceptives. C. SB296/HB731 Relating to Minors: Authorizes a physician, upon consultation with a minor patient who indicates that the minor was the victim of a sexual offense, with the consent of the minor patient, to perform customary and necessary examinations to obtain evidence of the sexual offense and may prescribe for and treat the patient for any immediate condition caused by the sexual offense. Provides that the consent of the parent, parents, or legal guardian of a minor offender who has been committed to the Hawai'i youth correctional facilities is not necessary in order to authorize hospital, medical, mental health, dental, emergency health, or emergency surgical care. IV. Vote to authorize CSW member(s) to write and submit testimony on behalf of CSW. V. ADJOURNMENT
