Kailua-Kona, HI 96740 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the following matters to be considered by the County of HawaiTs Public Access, Open Space, and Natural Resources Preservation Commission (PONC) in accordance with the provisions of Chapters 91 and 92, Hawaii Revised Statutes, the Hawaii County Code Section 2-215, and the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure (amended May 2023). Public Participation: This is an in-person meeting and the Commissioners will participate in person. Members of the public wishing to participate may either attend in person, giving oral or written testimony, or may submit written testimony prior to the meeting's commencement. To ensure timely delivery of your testimony to the Commissioners prior to the meeting, please submit written testimony no later than 12:00 noon two business days prior to the meeting, by(1) email to PonctestimonvCcD-hawaiicounty.4ov, (2) by mail to PONC Commission at 25 Aupuni Street, Suite 1101, Hilo, Hawai'i 96720, or(3) by fax to (808) 961-8248 attention PONC testimony. Testimony may also be provided either in writing or orally at the in-person meeting. All written testimony, regardless of time of receipt, will be made part of the permanent record. Please submit written separate testimony for each agenda item. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service, or other accommodation due to a disability, please contact the Property Management Division at(808) 961-8069 and/or PONC@hawaiicounty.gov as soon as possible. If a request is received later than five business days prior to the meeting date, we will try to obtain the auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation, but we cannot guarantee that the request will be fulfilled. ADJOURNMENT: (Motion required) NOTICE TO LOBBYISTS If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawaii County Clerk within five days of becoming a lobbyist. {Article 15, Section 2-91.3(b), Hawaii County Code} A lobbyist means, "any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spends more than five hours in any month or$275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials." {Article 15, Section 2-91.3(a) (6), Hawai`i County Code} Registration forms and expenditure report documents are available at the Office of the County Clerk-Council 25 Aupuni Street, Hilo, Hawaii 96720.
