Final Recommended Draft General Plan 2045
Pursuant to Section 16.1 of the 2005 General Plan, we hereby transmit the Final Recommended Draft
General Plan 2045 and support documentation. In accordance with Section 16.1(8) and (9), the Planning
Commissions have 150 days to separately review and make recommendations to the County Council.
The Planning Commissions shall each recommend approval of the proposed amendments, in whole or in
part, recommend changes, or recommend rejection of the proposal for changes to the General Plan. If
either or both Planning Commissions fail to act on recommendations, such failure shall be deemed a
negative recommendation.
This package transmits the following electronically unless otherwise noted below:
1.Draft Ordinance to Adopt General Plan 2045.
2.Final Recommended Draft General Plan 2045. (hardcopy included)
3.Policy Rationale document.
4.2015 Council Resolutions & Planning Department Responses - This is provided as information
and to ensure its future transmission to the County Council as part of the plan adoption process.
The Planning Commission is not required to respond, comment on, or make recommendations
on the resolutions or the responses.
5.Public Comments after July 29, 2024 and through October 24, 2024.
