Aloha,
I'm writing to request that the Big island General Plan be revised. It's not in the best
interest of the island or its people the way it is written now.
For one thing, why would anyone want to change the land use from resident to
recreation? It doesn't make sense. It will lower our property values.
The way this plan is written currently does not support our island or its people. To support it,
we need to grow more food, and be less dependent on importing it.
Please reconsider.
