To whom it my concern,
I TESTIFY AGAINST COUNTY OF HAWAII GENERAL PLAN 2045!!
DO NOT OPEN DHHL ROADS TO PUNA TRAFFIC!!
Keep Hawaii Hawaii!!
I was born and raised in Hilo. We are blessed to live on the Big Island and want to remain
here. I'm a mother of four children, they look up to me for protection and security. I'mcurrently working on serving a lot of our local people including our kupuna who paved a way
for the younger generation to strive.
I do not agree with the opening of the roads through our Hawaiian Home Lands. That wouldcause undue hardship for our local people. There is currently too many Puna drivers speeding
pass our driveway. Putting us in great danger. Too many times we have had car accidents rightin front of our property. Sad to say we have had a death on our lot due to people driving
recklessly. I'm greatful I did not have to discover the lifeless body on our aina. Sadly one ofmy kupuna will have to live with witnessing such a horrific event.
