Subject:No to Big I Gen plan 2045

Please Commissioners!
The Big Island General plan is not good for the people here. It must not go through the way itis designed. I live in lower Puna since 2010. I own a small piece of land here and I intend to
live out my life here. I'm very concerned about the future of this island.
Some of my concerns are that the word "stakeholder" means anyone in the entire world canhave input on this plan. I would like it changed to "local communities" such as a big island,
farmers businesses, renters and owners. We will be very much affected by the activities andthe general plan and the more I find out about it the more concerned I am.
The OSCER department in the plan will Noel void all public input and move decisions to
unelected officials. This is horrific and I protest. This department should not be created in anyway shape. This is on page 188, 40.8.
Please hear the people. Many of my friends who are not writing letters feel the same way as Ido.
