STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC – Pursuant to HRS 92-3 interested persons that want to provide oral testimony may do so either at the time the board takes public statements on the agenda or at the time the specific agenda item is called or as otherwise allowed at the sole discretion of the Chair. 1 BUSINESS OF THE AGENCY 1. Legislative Update on the Peninsula: Invited members of the State Legislature will provide updates on bills affecting the Peninsula that were introduced in the 2025 legislative session. The discussion will include potential impacts, legislative priorities, and the next steps. Invited Legislators: Senator Lorraine Inouye Representative Sue Keohokapu-Lee Loy Representative Matthias Kusch Representative Chris Todd 2. Peninsula: Representatives from HCDA will provide an update on legislation concerning 3. : The board will discuss the utilization of the $1 million appropriation designated for the development of a master plan for the Waiakea Peninsula. The Office of State Planning and HCDA will design and execute this plan. 4. Former Deputy Planning Director Daryn Arai Insights on the Peninsula: Former Deputy Planning Director Daryn Arai has been invited to provide an overview of in the redevelopment of Banyan Drive. Additionally, he will share his recommendations impact on future planning efforts. 5. Mayor’s Office Update on the Peninsula: Mayor Kimo Alameda and/or designated representatives have been invited to comment and provide guidance on initiatives related to the , in particular HB818, 2025 and any other concepts the Mayor’s office may have to present. ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS 1. Approval of meeting summary from the February 13, 2025 Redevelopment Agency meeting. 2. Scheduling of next meeting date. Notice to Lobbyists: If you are a lobbyist, you must register with the Hawai‘i County Clerk within five days of becoming a lobbyist \[Article 15, Section 2-91.3 (b), Hawai‘i County Code\]. A lobbyist means “any individual engaged for pay or other consideration who spends more than five hours in any month or $275 in any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials.” \[Article 15, Section 2-91.3(a) (6), Hawai‘i County Code\].
