Aloha,
How much power is the Hawai'i Planning Director going to keep receiving?
INITIATOR: COUNTY COUNCIL (PL-CCI-2025-000010) "The purpose of this bill is to
grant the Planning Director the authority to designate alternative methods for defining Special
District boundaries, when deemed appropriate."
Because Jeff Darrow has been working in the planning department for 26 years, he has
demonstrated a preference for development over land conservation and community input. Why
are there bills that continue to give the Hawai'i Planning Director more power?

Why don't you provide any links to where this bill is located?
Why isn't there more information about this bill?
Please oppose this to maintain checks and balances and not grant more power to the Hawai'i
Planning Director. This position appears to be constantly seeking more power.
