SOUTH HILO:
A. JOB NO. 2003-812, CONSTRUCTION OF THE SOUTH HILO G.I. PIPELINE
AND SERVICE LATERAL REPLACEMENT:
Bids will be opened on July 21, 2005; and a report and recommendation will be provided at
the meeting.
6) MISCELLANEOUS:
A. DEDICATION OF WATER SYSTEM:
The Department received the following document for action by the Water Board. The water
system has been constructed in accordance with the Department's standards and is in
acceptable condition for dedication.
1. GRANT OF EASEMENT
HAWAII PRIDE OFF -SITE WATERLINE
Grantor: W. H. Shipman, Ltd.
E.W.O.: 2000 -032
TMK: (3) 1 -6- 003:022 & portion 066
Final Inspection Date: April 25, 2000
Water System Cost: $79,335.00
The water system was conveyed to the "Water Commission" in April of 2000 through a

Bill of Sale - Document No. 2000 - 084518. The roadways owned by W. H. Shipman,
Ltd., was never conveyed.
RECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the Water Board accept this documents
subject to the approval of the Corporation Counsel and that either the Chairman or the
Vice - Chairman be authorized to sign the document.
B. PRESENTATION BY R. W. BECK INC.:
R. W. Beck, Inc., will provide the Board with an update of the Water Master Plan and
Personnel Needs Assessment status. The update is for informational purposes and for
discussion.
C. AGRICULTURAL RATE RENEWAL:
For discussion and/or action.
D. WATER COMMITMENTS:
For discussion.
E. MONTHLY PROGRESS REPORT:
Review of progress report of projects.
F. REVIEW OF MONTHLY FINANCIAL STATEMENTS:
Review of financial statements and information.
G. MANAGER'S REPORT:
1) Kona Coastview/Wonderview status
2) USGS Drilling Program
3) Kona Water Quality
H. CHAIRMAN'S REPORT:
1) Follow -up to Ms. Scarr's survey
