SPECIAL PERMIT APPLICATION NO. PL-SPP-2025-000089)
REVISED CONDITIONS
The Planning Director agrees with the applicant's request to amend Condition 7, allowing the
Fire Department to determine whether on-site water storage is necessary based on the project's
proximity to the nearest fire hydrant. This condition language will be included in this permit
(Note: deletions are bracketed and struck through and new addition as underscored):
7. The Applicant shall install, construct, and maintain improvements for Fire
Department Access Road (FDAR) access to the permit area and fire suppression
improvements, including but not limited to on-site water storage,[as] if required
by the Fire Department. Upon successful completion of the improvements and
prior to the commencement of the proposed use, the Applicant shall provide the
Planning Department documentation from the Fire Department that the
improvements meet Fire Code standards.
As the applicant proposes to utilize the existing, unpermitted dwelling to temporarily store
construction equipment and materials, the applicant will need to secure proper permitting from
the Department of Public Works, Building Division prior to such a use. To memorialize this
requirement, the Planning Director recommends revising Condition 4 as follows (Note: deletions
are bracketed and struck through and new addition as underscored):
4. Prior to the use of the unpermitted dwelling for construction storage or occupancy
of the church structure[ fef the rfopesed use], the Applicant shall secure and
finalize all required [building] permits from the Department of Public Works,
Building Division.
