Subject: Request to Postpone Leeward Planning Commission Hearing
Special Permit Application (PL-SPP-2025-000087)

In accordance with comments received from the State Historic Preservation Division, the
applicant has contracted with an archaeologist to conduct an archaeological field
investigation (AFI) of the Special Permit area. We would like to defer this matter to the
August 21st Leeward Planning Commission meeting in order to allow additional time for the
AFI to be prepared.
We trust that everything is in order for your acceptance and processing of this request. If
