Regarding the application to rezone from RS-20 to CV-20 of a three acre property on Old Volcano Road, 19-4046,
in Volcano village.
1)This would set a bad precedent for adjacent properties to be rezoned and native Ohia forest clear cut pin to pin in
a designated residential area.
2)Commercial development should be done only in areas designated commercial by the Puna Development Plan
and the Volcano Community Development Plan.
There are lots of properties for sale in this commercially zoned area.
3)I respectfully request that this rezoning request be denied in order to protect threatened Ohia forest.
