(HSCSW) Hawaii State Commission on the Status of Women, Jennifer Stotter, Ex- Officio member to provide updates and announcements B. TREASURER'S REPORT b. Treasurer's Report on Committee's budget and spending, FY 2024-2025 c. Treasurer updates since last regular meeting VIII. OLD BUSINESS A. (February agenda item) Equal Pay Project: Equal pay social media campaign gift cards available IX. NEW BUSINESS A. Establishment of Sub-Committees and responsibilities a. Legislation &Advocacy Sub-Committee (LEG): This subcommittee shall be responsible for monitoring the State of Hawaii legislative session with the assistance of the HSCSW County of Hawaii Chair (January-April) and monitoring of the CofH County Council. The purpose of this subcommittee is to report to CSW current state legislative & county council items for possible CSW action or advocacy that impact the women and girls of the County of Hawaii. This committee shall propose recommendations to CSW for action when needed and to represent CSW for the purpose of advocacy when required. b. Community & Outreach Sub-Committee (C&O): This subcommittee shall be responsible for handling initial requests for CSW support not related to legislative or council issues. The purpose of this subcommittee is to maintain open communication and build positive relationships with our Hawaii Island Community and Agencies through activities, outreach, public communications that engage those we represent and to act as an informational resource. This subcommittee shall also maintain the calendar of community events that may be of interest or serve the women and girls of Hawaii Island. C. Family Services Directory Sub-Committee (FSD,joint w/OPA): This subcommittee with the assistance of OPA shall compile, update and distribute the Annual Family Services Directory. The Family Services Directory is a long- standing service provided to the community by CSW and serves as a critical informational resource. d. CSW Operations Sub-Committee (OPS): This subcommittee shall be responsible to compile and file the required CSW reports each fiscal year as detailed in the CSW operating procedures or as directed by the Mayor's Office. B. Review of FY2026 allocated budget C. Planning for upcoming events b. Project Rationale: All Girls Rodeo Event on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 9:00 AM—Outreach booth D. Strategic Planning: how to use Social Media Platforms and Survey Forms to build and achieve a connection between the Big Island community and committee. E. Discussion on ways to improve membership and attendance at CSW meetings. Ideas on how to accomplish community outreach initiatives to bolster participation at meetings. F. Review October 16, 2019 CSW Operating Guidelines. Discussion on whether it should be updated. G. Complete and file CSW annual reports for end of FY2025 and beginning of FY2026 H. Update to the County of Hawaii Boards and Commissions CSW Web Page and Fact Sheet I. Ordering of COH CSW banner and promotional/swag item for community outreach and activities X. ANNOUNCEMENTS A. Discussion on alternating quarterly meetings in person vs Zoom to build relationships of committee members and participants/members of the public. B. Secretary position is still open if anyone is interested. C. If any committee member requires training or has questions about their responsibilities, please contact Kaycie or Jan. XI.
