CULTURAL RESOURCES COMMISSION COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of the following matters to be considered by the Hawai‘i County Cultural Resources Commission (CRC) in accordance with the provisions of Chapters 91 and 92,
Hawai‘i Revised Statutes and Chapter 2, Article 44 of the Hawai‘i County Code. NOTE: Pursuant to Act 220, Session Laws of Hawai‘i 2021, which amended the Sunshine Law to allow meetings to be remotely conducted online, effective January 1, 2022, the Cultural Resources
Commission meetings will be held online, and the location listed below for the public to provide
testimony on agenda items. The meeting can be viewed live online or at the location listed below. DATE: Wednesday, October 8, 2025 TIME: 10:00 AM

INTERACTIVE CONFERENCE TECHNOLOGY (ICT):
Cultural Resources Commission Members and applicants will participate in this meeting via the Zoom interactive video conference platform. The public will be able to view and listen to the meeting at: https://www.youtube.com/@cohplanningdepartment/streams. Testimony may be given upon registering via the Zoom link, or at the in-person location provided. Minutes of the Cultural Resources Commission meeting will be transcribed and posted on the Planning Department’s

STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC – Pursuant to HRS 92-3 interested persons that want to
provide oral testimony may do so either at the time the board takes public statements on the agenda or at the time the specific agenda item is called or as otherwise allowed at the sole discretion of the Chair.

Section 106 Review: Waikaumalo Stream Bridge Rehabilitation (PL-CRC-2025-000034) Location: Puaʻakuloa, Kapena, and Piha, Kahuku Ahupuaʻa, Hilo Moku, Hawaiʻi Island TMK: (3) 3-2-002: 999, and portions of 3-2-002:029 and 032 ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS Approval of minutes for the meeting held on September 10, 2025. Next meeting tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

a lobbyist [Article 15, Section 2-91.3 (b), Hawai‘i County Code]. A lobbyist means “any individual
engaged for pay or other consideration who spends more than five hours in any month or $275 in
any six-month period for the purpose of attempting to influence legislative or administrative action by communicating or urging others to communicate with public officials.” [Article 15, Section 2-
91.3(a) (6), Hawai‘i County Code]. If you need an auxiliary aid/service or other accommodation due to a disability, contact the Planning Department at (808) 961-8288 as soon as possible, and no later than five (5) working days
prior to the meeting date. Requests made as early as possible have a greater likelihood of being
fulfilled. Upon request, this notice may be made available in alternate/accessible formats. The purpose of the public hearing is to afford all interested person(s) a reasonable opportunity to be heard on the above matters.
