Photo source: KSF 2025 •No Archaeological Inventory Surveys (AIS), Cultural Impact Assessments (CIA), or Archaeological Literature Review and Field Inspections (ALRFI) were found within the SHPD library for the project area. •A previous SHPD review of a 1990 project noted the potential for archaeological remains associated with irrigated taro cultivation within TMK parcel 3-2-002:029. The SHPD report did not identify a specific site or region of the parcel as an area of concern. •This project area (Waikaumalo Bridge) only encroaches upon a portion of this TMK parcel adjacent to the right-of-way. •Disturbance in this parcel could potentially only consist of vegetation clearing (i.e., no sub-surface work) directly mauka of the right-of-way for equipment staging purposes.
