Dear Leeward Planning Commissioners,
I write today to express my opposition to this development located in an already highly over
developed stretch of Kona shoreline. If you look closely the homes are very close and
should not have more additional density.
NO CONDO OR RESIDENTIAL SHOULD BE ALLOWED IN THIS LOCATION!
The set back for new construction should be 60 ft now.
New certified shoreline survey should be in place for this application and it is not here.
I agree to allow existing homes to be restored but NO NEW CONSTRUCTION on what little
vacant land is left oceanfront in Kailua-Kona.
Where is the environmental review or impact statement?
Where is the traffic study?
The recent Tsunami evacuation was shocking traffic Jam,prooving that more cars from this
sort of development adds to the gridlock.
Do Not Pass this,it would be lunacy to do so.
Please think about the Benefit of the People, the Public, the Future
generation as our Keiki's matter.
What you do now will have a major effect going forward.
