Aloha Leeward Planning Commissioners:
I wish to again oppose Item #1 PL-SMA_2025-00080.This is a high hazard coastal area.
These photos show loss of oceanfront because of this.The shoreline survey of January 29,2025 showed a loss of 965 sq ft.
This took only 7 years. Per Mr. Totah at the recent hearing,loss is 18 feet.
40 feet set back is not sufficient, 60 to 120 feet. is of High HazardCoastal shoreline.
Sea level rise, Wave Storm, Climate changes, Coastal floodingare all on the rise. Go with the flow and not challenge mother
nature. She will win, and all of us will be at loss going against.We need to plan ahead, and Malama our Ocean.
We should not continue to destroy.Absolutely No more Sea Walls, or Concrete Pools should
be allowed
