Each Commissioner will provide updates and share concerns about their respective districts; Commissioners to decide on whether to add those topics at the next meeting and to invite the public to provide testimonies and presentations at their meeting. Joshua Pang-Ching, Wildlife Biologist, Game Section, Hawai'i Department of Land Natural Resources Division of Forestry and Wildlife will provide an update on game birds on Hawai'i Island. 6. OLD BUSINESS: a. GMAC development of an informational/marketing brochure design markups for Commissioners to consider. Commissioner Aquino b. GMAC 2025 First Quarter Report on its activities, Chair Turalde. c. The Commission intends to discuss topics for future GMAC agenda presentations. Chair Turalde 7. NEW BUSINESS: a. Budget: Office of Management will provide an update. b. Discussion and Decision Making: Draft GMAC 2025 second and third quarter reports. c. Election of Chair and Vice Chair. d. Discussion regarding GMAC's procedures for issuing advice to County, State, and Federal agencies. e. Discussion regarding GMAC's goals for calendar year 2026. f. Discussion regarding sending a GMAC representative to the opening day of the State legislature. g. Discussion regarding recruitment of people to fill vacant GMAC seats. h. Next Meeting: January 20, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. 25 Aupuni Street, Puna Conference Room, 1501, Hilo, HI 96720. 9. ADJOURNMENT. Executive Session: This Commission anticipates it may convene in one or more executive sessions regarding the above matters listed on the agenda, pursuant to HRS Sections 92-4 and 92-5 (a)(4), for the purpose of consulting with the Board's attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the Commission's powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities. A two-thirds (2/3) vote pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statute Section 92-4 is necessary to hold an executive session. Executive sessions are closed to the public. Commissioners attending the meeting from private locations shall advise if any person is with them (except for the names of minors). Note: This meeting shall be automatically recessed for up to 30 minutes to restore communication when audiovisual communication cannot be maintained with all Commission members participating in the meeting or with the "in-person" location identified in this agenda. This meeting may be in-person when either audiovisual communication is restored, or audio-only communication is established after an unsuccessful attempt to restore audiovisual communication. If it is not possible to reconvene the meeting as provided in this subsection within 30 minutes after an interruption to communication, the remaining items on this agenda shall be continued to the next meeting.
